Welcome to your new website, available for your convenience. The website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.
Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.
Partners in Care
Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.
Please note on Friday 19th May there will be no surgeries running or access to the phones from 13:00, due to the computer systems merging.

Darwen Healthlink - Practice Survey results 2016
The Practice gave out 50 questionnaires to random patients. Out of these 43 were returned and 1 was partially completed. The questions were around access to the surgery, availability of appointments, waiting times and the overall experience at your Practice. The main questions asked have now been collated and are available to view using the link below.
Patient Reference Group - Your next meeting will be held Tuesday 6th June 2017 at 1.30pm in the Training Room at Darwen Health Centre, all patients are welcome.
To enable us to maintain and improve a quality service staff will receive training and development each Tuesday between 12:30pm and 2pm.
Whilst the practice remains open during these times, limited staff are available to answer calls.
We would therefore be grateful if you could contact us after 2pm for non-urgent enquiries

Patient Information Personal Confidential Data (PCD) - Recently the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC) published information to say under certain circumstances they may require Personal Confidential Data from GP practices, without seeking patient consent.
